The Schooner Rose is an 85-foot custom schooner built in 1984 in San Pedro, California, making it the largest commercial sailing vessel on the West Coast of the United States. With its impressive three-sail configuration and capacity for up to 49 passengers, the Rose offers an authentic tallship experience in the heart of Portland.
We brought the boat 1,000 miles up the coast to Astoria for a comprehensive 1-year refit, transforming this magnificent vessel into the premier sailing experience you see today. Our goal is to unite people through the magic of sailing on the boat and bring something truly special to Portland, Oregon.
