Portland's only 90-minute River Sailing Tour is in its 12th year in 2015!
Our vessels are available for private charters at other times of the day.
Our 90-minute sail begins with a cruise across the river to the most expensive floating homes on the Willamette. On some sails we head up river to the Waverly Country Club, the Palatine Castle and the spectacular views at the volcanic caldera near Elk Rock Island. On other sails we head down the historic Holgate channel on Portland's own "Jungle Cruise" to the spectacular city riverfront where we'll sail close to shore and then ease the sheets for a fun run up the west side of Ross Island and then back to the dock. Let your captain know if you have a preference.
You are welcome to bring snacks or drinks (adult beverages are ok :-]) on your cruise.
Please note that we motor about half of the 90 minute tours to get through windless or headwind areas and to finish the tour. For the most sailing and least motoring, please join our pure sailing adventure/lessons... these are less about tour information and more about sailing!
For 2 to 6 passengers per boat... private parties for up to 40 guests can be arranged on our fleet!
You can schedule online today to reserve your place on the yacht! Please call 503-893-2283 or email firstname.lastname@example.org if you
have any questions.
What people are saying:
"We had a fantastic time sailing with Shane with Scovare. It was a gorgeous day. For first timers, we had a lot to learn. Shane was very patient and taught us so much. He knows what he is doing and loves doing it! What more can you ask for? We can't wait to go again."

"Twenty years from now, you will be more disappointed by the things you didn't do than by the ones that you did. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover."
